Illustrator notes

Selection tool- allows you to move things around the board

Direct selection tool- allows you to manipulate key points of a graphic. eg.  move corners, drag text down.

pen tool- to draw with.

anchor point tool- manipulates corners.

curvature tool- to draw curves.

rectangle tools- rectangle, oval, polygon, star, line tools 

paintbrush tools- many different swatches.

text tool- path tool to manipulate text.

rotation tool - rotate, scale, reflect, and shear tool, artboard tool 

scissor tool - directly cut, eraser tool 

shape builder - newer tool, allowing to draw shapes without shape tools 

gradient tool - same as photoshop, mesh tool - different types of colours, patterns 

colour dropper tool - same as photoshop 

width tool - like warp tool 

blend tool -more arty, more depth in shadow

artboard tool - split artboard up, split page up into four in the way it would fold 

Magnifying glass tool - zoom in and out of the document 

swatch tool - pick colour swatches, colour, and colour of outlines
